What makes GateWay of Hope Ministries unique?
- GateWay of Hope Ministries acknowledges you as a whole woman - physical, spiritual, mental, emotional, and relational. Many organizations such as churches, counseling centers, or community support groups focus only on one area and look at that area from only one perspective. But at GateWay of Hope Ministries, we try to look at your whole life, understand how every area of your life is affected, and then offer you help or refer you to other places that might be more suited to help her...
- GateWay of Hope Ministries also offers a gathering place where you cam meet with groups of women from all faiths and all walks of life - married or single, rich or poor, old or young, professional or stay-at-home - can come together to share common concerns and offer each other support. We are aware of no other location in Johnson county that provides you a place to come and gather.
Is GateWay of Hope Ministries affiliated with any church or religious organization?

What exactly is a “gathering”?
- A “gathering” is when a group meets together in one place. This could be a group with a specific purpose that is planned and lead by GateWay of Hope Ministries such as a support group, GateWay Getaway, seminar, or prayer meeting. This might also be a group such as committee meeting, game night, Bible study, or relaxing time with your friends planned and lead by you or someone else. So, at GateWay of Hope Ministries a gathering takes place when women draw together for any purpose.
- Another meaning of gathering is to “gather our thoughts” or pull things together in our minds. So, with this meaning, a gathering could be quite different from the previous meaning in that you would come away by themselves to spend time alone to reflect, meditate, prayer, or read.
